I was just trying to look over prices and couldn't get anything to go in, how much does the Disneyland Hotel run a night? I would probably be going in June, not of this year, but was just curiuos. I would usually not spend the money to stay in a fancy hotel, however the fact that the one in Paris sits right at the end of Main St. is just amazing to me. None of the US parks do that. Is there a back door that you can actually walk out of from the hotel and you are on Main St???

Not quite. After exiting the hotel you then have to go round to the front and through the turnstiles into the park, which live right under the hotel. You then cross an open area, walk under the train station and then you are on Main Street. It's lovely being so close though as you never feel like you've left the magic. I loved being able to hear the train whistle from our window :)

There is a turnstile like 5ft from the DLH main door. So you don't need to go round to the front. (Or at least there was when we stayed there)

Or if you stay in Castle Club there's an elevator that takes you down to the entrance.

But as others have said it doesn't take you out to Main Street. It takes you to a little plaza in front of the station. Kind of like where you watch the MK opening show in WDW but in Paris that's in the park more and prettier.

We always used that exit too Torsie - it's like 10-15 foot away from the side entry turnstiles so you are probably nearer to Main Street than any other Disney hotel I think? :goodvibes

I know it gives you an idea by looking at the rack rates, but if you are going to book a standard room them you should really manage to get some deal of some sort. They have them on every month :rotfl2:.

If you decide to stay in the Castle Club however the rack rate is what you will pay. They do not discount these rooms or suites. From what I gather, the CC rooms are the same size etc as the standard rooms. Difference being sometimes view (not always, but some have good park views - but it appears you pay more again for this!), and private lounge area/breakfast area as well as afternoon tea, and the lift into the parks that Torsie mentions. They also have their own check in desk but really, I don't think this is truly necessary in the DLH as it never seems too crowded at reception anyway!
