In the past, we have stayed at Disneyland Hotel - Sierra Tower - Concierge. We had to change our ressies today, for this next weekend, to Paradise Pier, theme park view, concierge as friends were meeting us and staying there.

Has anyone stayed at both? Can you tell me the differences? Registration people tell me that the food offerings are the same and the rooms basically the same size. We realize lounge at Paradise Pier doesn't have the same view but we won't be there much ... since we are with friends.

Also, heard they had actually done some theme work on the pool at Paradise Pier ... has anyone seen it?

We heard Paradise Pier just finished a complete rennovation .. just curious about any opinions.

I don't know anything about the concierge at either hotel. The PP newley remodeled rooms look nice enough if a little bland still. If you had one of the Sierra tower rooms with the 2 queens and a daybed that was large you may find the PP rooms small. They are NOT nearly the same size though they are fine, just not as impressive as the Sierra Tower. They also have no balconay or doors that open. The window opens and inch or two. I personally was not that impressed with the PP hotel compared to other DL and WDW hotels. If you get a good price it is fine. The themepark view from the higher rooms is great though. We had floor 13 and really enjoyed that and DCA hap not opened yet,
