We are going to the Disneyland hotel in about a week and was wondering if you can request which tower you would prefer to stay in. I tried to request a tower on the check in website but did not see anything. Is there another way to try and request this?

Yes just call the hotel and select the option to be connected directly to the hotel operator. I'm arriving on Sunday and did this today. They will remind you that they cannot guarantee requests but will do their best based on availability. Don't forget to mention if you are celebrating something too. Enjoy your trip.

On the day you check in, get there as early as possible and they usually can accommodate your request. At least they did that with me. I checked in around 10am and I was given a better valued room then what I booked online.

Thanks for the responses! I will definitely give the resort a call now then and get there early as well next Thursday.

Glad to know you can call and request a tower. We've only stayed in the Fantasy Tower. Is there another tower better?

Hope you don't mind...
I'd like to piggy back on your question and ask those that have stayed there....

Which tower of the DLH do you like? Why?

TIA
Geemo

First stay was booked in a standard room at DLH - Requested adventure tower and got a low level floor overlooking Trader Sam's/walkways - was great.

Last visit was Frontier tower - booked deluxe view room around 11th/12th floor - could see fireworks /pool view / splash and Matterhorn in distance.

This Sunday- Friday have Premium view room booked and requested adventure tower. We like that tower because it's the closest to the entrance but it's not a big deal really.

We haven't stayed in Fantasy but we really love frontier and adventure so far as it's closest to Trader Sam's/Tangoraoa terrace which we like to take advantage of during our entire stay.

Following. I'd like to know others opinions on the towers as well. We just booked a stay at the DLH and haven't been able to find much info on the different towers. This will be our first time staying there....so excited!

We've stayed there twice.

First time we had club level and were in what is now...Adventure Tower? We could use the special elevator, so that was super-close to DTD.

Second time we were in Frontier. Felt like the wilderness until we realized we could go out the back, or maybe side, then walk out towards PPH, across the street and in through the Grand, and it was the same distance as if we had walked through DLH property.

But to me, it felt shorter, because I dislike backtracking (it's just a "thing" with me) and walking all the way through DLH property felt like backtracking to me. Going out the other way felt better. :)

We have stayed in the Fantasy Tower twice and the Frontier Tower twice. We much prefer the Fantasy Tower. The Fantasy Tower is where the shops, restaurant and lobby are. We do not like the Frontier Tower, just for the reason that it is so far from the lobby/shops and it is a longer walk to the parks (haven't tried the PP route, but not sure we want to go out of the Disney bubble and cross the street. We don't leave the Disney bubble once we get to DLR ;)) . They do not always accommodate Tower Requests. Our last trip, our request was anywhere BUT the Frontier Tower... yep, we got put in the Frontier Tower. We had booked the lower level pool view and the CM upgraded us to the higher level deluxe view which was pretty much the same as the pictures posted by the PP. He told me he was sure we would like it because of the view, but if we really hated it to come back and he would see what he would do. Well, it was a very nice view... but, we still didn't like the Frontier Tower, but we also were too lazy to cart ourselves and all of our luggage back all the way to the front desk from the Frontier Tower, so we just dealt with it. It is not like it is a hardship- you are still in a great room, with a great view, at a fantastic resort. On the bright side, the Frontier Tower has a very close pool entrance and is also close to Trader Sams. It really is just a matter of personal preference, the whole resort is great.

I guess we'll ask for the Fantasy Tower.
The pictures from the Frontier Tower are very nice though.

I just got an amazing rate to upgrade to a premium view! I requested the adventure tower on the Downtown Disney side. Has anyone requested this but still were put into a pool view room? I know it is not guaranteed but I was wondering if the chances are high.
