Disneyland Hotel-specific tower to request?

Hello all,

We will be headed out to Disneyland in May and have booked 2 standard rooms at the Disneyland Hotel for our family. For those that have stayed or visited there before, are there any recommendations on a specific tower to request (Fantasy, Adventure or Frontier)? Things I was wondering about was if there are any differences in room size, difference in bathroom set up (some pictures I've seen indicate a bathroom with one sink and other pics show two sinks), convenience to both the hotel's amenites and downtown disney. Any other differences that makes you want to stay in one tower over the other, or are they all more or less the same?

Thank you all in advance. I did a few searches of the forum and found several threads on DL Hotel, but couldn't find my answer to this question. If there is a thread out there that already covers this and you are able to point me towards it, that would also be greatly appreciated.

I think most have a tower they prefer for various reasons.

Now many will say stay in the Adventure tower, because it is the closest to DTD, and you can get views of DTD and the fireworks on one side of the tower.

Other like the Fantasy tower because it is an elevator ride to the front desk (as it is the tower that has the main desk) and you do not have to leave the tower to go too goofys kitchen, steakhouse55 the gift shop. However the views are either going to be the pool *which is a great view* or the parking lot.

Other's like me prefer the frontier tower, which is the furthest *meaning by about a minute really* from DTD. In that tower if you are at one end, you get great views of the fireworks, on one side the pool, and the other a parking lot. I have found it to be a quiet tower because of where it sits, but that is my opinion.

The rooms are very similar throughout the three towers. Depending on which room you get the bathrooms may or may not have double sinks, but you can ask at check in.

You can ask for a specific tower when you make your res, but they will not guarantee it.

Adventure for the reasons stated, good views from any room and close to DTD which means, the parks too.

Since they don't guarantee, requesting when you check in is nessecary.

Our room in the Frontier was wonderful. 6th floor gives a wonderful view of the whole pool area, but also great sunrises and sunsets. It is very quiet also. Our room did have a single sink, but this wasn't a huge concern for us.

I think we will try to stay in a different tower next time if possible, just to see the difference.

All in all, a wonderful place to stay hands down.

These reasons are why I prefer the Fantasy Tower. DBF and I were lucky enough to get a free room upgrade to a wonderful pool view on our last trip. It really is nice. This is the only tower we've ever stayed in.

IMO, distance really shouldn't be a factor when deciding which tower to request. The towers are much too close for it to be of any significance.

We've been in both the Fantasy and Adventure towers and don't have a preference. Both were great and the differences in distance to DTD aren't significant.
