Disneyland hotel points

I just booked the DLH for October on points (second son decided to join us at last minute and of course all VGC was booked) My dates at Oct 19-20-21 (Wed, Thur and Fri). All that was left for points was Premium view so a total of 117 points 36 for for each weekday and 45 for wekend. Really outrageous and I thought later maybe I should just have paid cash for him, but just got back from Expo and really didn't want to commit more cash right then.
I don't know about the laundry set up, but if anyone reading knows..do you know if there is free parking at DLH when staying on points?

We're staying at PP the first week of Oct on points and called the hotel about parking. We were told DVC members get free parking at PP, so I would imagine it w/b the same for DLH.

BTW, if you think the points are high now for the two hotels in DLR, have you looked at the 2012 points charts? Pretty big increases in the nightly points pretty much across the board.

WOW!! I can not believe how many points they want for a hotel room. I am glad that my points can only be used for GCV. I would rather sell my points and use the cash or even stay off property. That seems very steep especially because you can get a 1 BR at GCV for same amount of points (if available). Good luck with whatever you choose.
