Disneyland Hotel - Just for Breakfast

What time do they serve breakfast until? When could be the latest that you could turn up?

TIA :)

It's from 7.30 - 11.00 so I'd be going for 10.30 at the latest thinking there would still be a choice ;)

They also do waffles (as well as pancakes), soft boiled eggs and the coffee & tea is proper coffee and milk (not the machine dispensed as at the HNY - or so I've recently been informed). They also offered to make my DD1 a fresh omelette if she wanted one as she couldn't have the milk last time so cereal etc was out. It could have changed from when I was last there though :confused3.

They also put bottles of mineral water on your table (I think our last visit you had to help yourself a bottle from a table somewhere?) - not sure if they do this at other Disney hotels? We used them to fill up the girls' drinking cups which was great!

I haven't stayed at the HNY yet but from the photos I've seen, the breakfast just doesn't compare to the DLH imo. All HNY seems to provide (hot) is scrambled egg/bacon/sausage and those little roast potato things? I enquired on here a while ago about pancakes and waffles and was told I would have to pay for them if I wanted them at HNY. My DDs love these while on holiday!

Is this the case?

I like hot breakfast items when I am away (never eat them normally, but to me, breakfast on holiday is about bacon/egg/sausage etc! lol), and this is the one area I'm bracing myself for being a little disappointed in at the HNY - could be pleasantly surprised though ;). However, the view won't be as nice for sure ::yes::.

In my opinion although the breakfast at the New York is superior to the other hotels it is in no way comparable to the Disneyland Hotel. I have stayed at the Disneyland Hotel once in 2004 and New York twice, 2010 and 2011. I can't think of anything you could possibly want for berakfast that isn't available at the Disneyland Hotel plus you have the amazing surroundings of the hotel and the view of the park.

The milk is the same, just in a jug. Fresh milk isn't common in France as it is in the UK. I'm not a fan of long life milk but it seems to taste nicer in Disney then over here.

Actually Nikki you are right - I was reading the hilarious 'milk' thread up in the useful info stickies the other day and they showed all the different milks. It does seem 'fresh' as we know it isn't used so much over there.

The only thing I can think of is the longlife milk is pastuerised in a different way (sp?) so doesn't taste as bad. I've honestly never had a yucky cup of coffee at breakfast at the DLH but have in some of the Disney restaurants - I put it down to the milk?

It seems a silly thing, but if, like me, you like a cuppa in the morning, a nice one makes a huge difference! :lmao: Looking forward to my next caffeine fix at Salon Mickey after breakfast :rotfl2:.....

Got to have something to keep me awake for a 14 hour Disney day :rolleyes1....

I enjoyed it when we stayed there & I liked the setting. I personally wouldn't pay €14 to have breakfast if I was staying onsite as the only difference is the hot items & I very rarely have that for breakfast over here. Everyone is different though:thumbsup2

I feel the same. We really enjoyed our breakfasts at the DLH when we stayed there last year but I wouldn't pay to eat there as a non-resident when staying onsite (or off-site for that matter) with breakfast already included. However if I was staying offsite room only then that's a different story. :)

I don't treat the DLH breakfast as breakfast though - we go at around 10am and then its brunch - and that keeps us going easily until early evening, missing out lunch completely :).

thanks for info everyone
looks soooo yummee. My friend is always going on about brunch in the US when they have pancakes, sausage, bacon AND maple syrup. sounded a little gross to me at first but every says its amazing, so i wanna try it. it's a great idea so we will be ok until early dinner at 6. :D

I heard somewhere about banana bread? I LOVE banana bread! Anyone seen this lately? I think I saw it in a trip report, but it was a few years back.
