Hi all,

I haven't been to Disneyland in 10 years. Can anyone tell me if the Disneyland Hotel Fantasy Waters Show is still in operation? Let me know!

On one website, there is a mention of this in operation:

Fantasy Waters Show
Grab the moment memories are made of. This treasured Disney classic has brought awe-inspired wonder to families for over three decades.

1800 choreographed water-jet fountains reflect the power and the beat of the beloved soundtrack
100s of synchronized lights
Classic Disney musical favorites

Sadly, the fantasy waters show is no longer running. :sad1: I used to love that show.

Shows you how bad my memory must be! I thought it was called Dancing Waters!!:rotfl2::rotfl2: In any case, not only has it been gone from the DLH for years and years, the 'fountain' area where it used to take place is currently dry and unused - a pitiful shadow of its former self!! I keep thinking they could do something with that area - put in a new fountain just for display or something.

Awwww! this sounds like something my family and I would have loved! I would love to hear your folks memories of this. When did it end? Thank you!

Maybe with the renovation of the hotel, they'll reconsider opening it.

Hmm, I doubt it. Considering World of Color is going to be like, Fantasy Waters x 10,000. ;)

I miss it too, though...in fact, I miss all of the old Disneyland Hotel, before they built DtD. It used to be the nighttime hotspot, where even if you weren't staying there you would head over for an evening of entertainment.

Oh, to have one more meal at the Monorail Cafe... :sad1:

I will agree with you on that! Even though I do enjoy DTD and the GCH and all the new additions made in the last decade, I can't help but remember the 'old DLH' of the '80s and '90s, and all the extra restaurants, extra shops and lounges (like the Pavilion Lounge and Sgt. Preston's Yukon Saloon) and the pedal boats/marina that were lost in the big makeover. I really, really, really miss the Monorail Cafe too! There really were several extra places to shop and eat, dance, have cocktails or even do karaoke - it is hard to convince people today that the DLH was ever quite that 'happening,' but it was!

Yes, the good ol' Monorail Cafe. Also, no more Stromboli's there either. DH and I went there for dinner on our first anniversary.
