Disneyland Hotel E-ticket lounge being refurbished?

I *love* the new lounge and find it (aside from the loss of fireworks views, which one can get from many other places) superior in every possible way. The food and drinks were better, the guest service FAR better, and the lounge itself far less hectic and crowded.

I didn't hear this news! The new lounge will no longer have fireworks views? That's disappointing.

We usually had the premium view CL room, so could have just seen them from there but kind of a bummer for people who have those standard view CL rooms.

@Living42Day I think they are referring to the current temp lounge area. The new High Key Lounge is set to open in June and it will have firework viewing.

From the Disney Parks Blog:
High Key Club will nearly double the space of the previous club-level lounge in the hotel’s Adventure Tower and will be a special place for concierge-level guests to watch Disneyland park fireworks and enjoy music from the show on nights that feature pyrotechnics.

Oh good! Thank you, I haven't been keeping up with the renovations there but recall hearing about an expansion last year. We're taking a bit of a break from the parks for this year/next. I was trying to figure out why they would do such a thing, that is such a draw for us to have a nice view of the park while sitting down midday for a mimosa break. I'm glad they're keeping that perk!

They told us they expect it wont be ready until at least July now.

THAT BEING SAID, it was fantastic. The service was phenomenal. Drinks were generous and frequent! 'B' makes an amazing lattee - ask him!!! Having no view was really unfortunate, but it was a comfortable place to hang out. I also will add that the food options were not nearly as extensive as the lounges at Walt Disney World though. I'd say about HALF the offerings and we actually paid MORE for Disneyland Hotel lounge.
