Hi all,
Just wanted to let those of you know I stayed at Disneyland Hotel last week for 3 nights. We got a view room in the Dreams tower over looking the pool (a remodeled room). Everything at the hotel was great, and I would have never known there was construction going on except for the fact that I read it on here. We never heard or saw anything different. The pool was fully open and looked the same as always, and we never heard any construction noise in the hotel. Every thing was great!

Glad you had a good experience!

I don't think the pool shuts down until mid to end of August, can anyone confirm that?

Last time I saw the post it said the 15th, but sometimes things change.

Thanks for the info. I started a thread today asking about this very thing. We're staying in Dreams (I hope; I requested it, but you never know), and I was apprehensive about noise for my son's nap. Also good to know the pool is still intact. :)

I thought I had read somewhere that the pool was going to stay open during construction (which sound improbable, but I could dream). I guess I need to call and confirm. Ugh, that's going to be a downer for DDs, they LOVE the Neverland Pool!

My family is checking into the DLH the end of Sept. and when I inquired about the pool I was told it would be closed, but guests would be allowed to use the pool at the GC.

I don't think I want to walk that distance just to swim in their pool... but that's just me.

WE are planning on going October 1st for 2 nights......for the halloween thing....ap rates are decent......it may be hot so if pool isn't open maybe we should stay at one of the other properties.....thoughts? Has anything been compeleted?

DHL has two pools. The Cove Pool will be open. If you are concerned about having a pool enough to consider changing resorts, look at pictures of which resort has a pool that you like. allears.net has some good shots.

This is the second time we have stayed in one of the remodeled rooms and in the DLH while it is under construction. The first time was in April, and this time was July 27-30. Both visits we didn't hear anything at all related to the construction. They were working on the Dreams Tower when we stayed there, but there was no noise at all. We went back to the room each day from 2-5 to rest, and it was very peaceful. The hotel has very good soundproofing compared to some of the other places around Disneyland.
