Going to Disneyland June 22, 23, 24. Staying in Anaheim with family the night of the 21st and want to be at the park first thing in the morning. HOWEVER, what do I do with all our stuff until check in at 3pm?

Should we/can we pull up the car to the front of the hotel and unload at 7am, get our tickets, and then head over to the park?

Do we then have to go back at 2 or 3 to check in? Or would we be considered "checked in" at 7am when we unload and check in?

Or are we not going to be able to do that and will have to leave our car and belongings at the parking structure until 3pm and then go back?

Anyone know about this kind of situation?

Yes you can pull in, leave your stuff and go to the park. In fact you will want to do this so you can get a parking validation and leave your car there. I am pretty sure you can just check in then. Who knows they may even have a room ready. Our first trip we checked in around 9:00 a.m. and they had a room ready. It was so nice!

Wow, sounds like you guys have done this before!!

So, will we have to park our car in the lot and take the tram back? Or will they valet it for us so we can just GO GO GO??

There's no tram from the hotel to the parks anymore--you'll either walk through Downtown Disney or take the monorail over if the park is open.

We have actually stayed at the DLH 5 times in the past year and half! Hands down my favorite hotel I have stayed in so far! You park your car and then walk to the parks. They have valet parking for a fee but to park in the lot is included in your resort fee and the lot is not that big so its not a big deal. There is no tram that takes you to the parks. You can take the Monorail, it is about a 3 minute walk from the DLH and will take you into Tomorrowland at Disneyland. It does not stop at California Adventure. If you walk to the parks, it takes about 10 -15 minutes walking along Downtown Disney. Very pleasant walk with plenty of stores to look into, ice cream places and restaurants. If you are getting there at 7:00 a.m. the park won't even be open yet. You could have breakfast somewhere along DTD, the Rainforest Cafe serves a full breakfast and then there are a couple of other places that serve breakfast like La Brea Bakery for example. One thing you could do is make a PS for Goofy's Kitchen. This would totally get your trip off to a fun start and it is right there in the Disneyland Hotel. I think June 22 is a Wednesday so the parks will probably open at 9:00 (you can check the schedule). Have a great trip!

Thanks so much Amy for all the info! I did know that there was NO tram and for some reason I thought we'd be parking in the DISNEYLAND PARKING GARAGE!! We'd of course have Disneyland Hotel parking :) I'll check on the times and will probably just cruise DTD until the park opens. I've never walked through there and would love to check out the distance so I can gage it for myself!!
Getting excited!! Thanks for the info,
Kelie
