disneyland holiday tour planning

hi all,

just got confirmation from my DU TA that he can't book our Disneyland Holiday tour for us - so i have to book it myself.

and having never booked anything directly with disney myself... figured that i'd come to the DIS and ask around...

so for those of you who have undertaken the Holidays at Disneyland tour -- what is the best way to go about this? is there a timeframe in which you can book it (ie only 60 days out etc)? do you have a specific recommendation on getting the best deals etc?

any help would be hugely appreciated

Booking things through Disney is really easy. I think there is a time frame for booking tours, but I can't remember what it is. You should be able to find out on their web page, or possibly even book it through their web page.

So did you TA give you a reason they couldn't book it?

my TA just said that they can't book tours as part of the reservation we had, that tours have to be booked by the individual.... so... i guess that's what i do.

i'll go see if i can get more info from mousesavers and the disney website

I booked through Disney, just called them one day and booked Fantasmic and some ADR's too (and a christmas tree and other room decorations for our arrival). The tour times each day are centred around the parades as that is how the tour ends.

Remember to book with your AP discount too Have a look on the Disneyland board, I'm sure there will be the info there and from memory there is a holiday tour thread somewhere.

As our trip that year was a last minute trip, organised in under a week, so I actually only booked it a week in advance and I got the day and time I wanted. That was early December, when it's not so busy.
