Disneyland High !

It was pretty close to that yesterday --- HOT HOT HOT.

But the afternoons & evenings are wonderful!

It's 81 degrees in my house right now! AH! I couldn't imagine being at DLR right now.

Yikes, here's hoping for June gloom when we go. I can't stand it when it's that hot!

October we thought was going to be cool, but it ended up being quite warm. Short weather for sure. But no 101. LOL

I was going to take my boys up this afternoon and evening and when I saw the weather I said NO WAY! Although it's going to cost me a new toy for each of them next time we go, lol.

I live in Phoenix AZ....the hottest place on the planet..(in my opinion:lmao: :lmao: )

I leave on sunday, and according to msn.com they are calling for high 70's next weekend...I am PRAYING that it stays like that, anything over 83 and I am ready to go sit under shade!

 Decided to do DL in June instead of WDW mainly because of better weather. 100 degrees - even if it's dry heat - doesn't sound much better! Isn't this unusual? None of the weather charts I consulted indicated it could get this hot at this time of year?

It is unusual. Not unheard of, but it is super hot this weekend and is supposed to go back down into the 70s by Tuesday.

It's 98 at my house in San Diego. Blech! I'm glad my Disney trip was last week when it was 70 and gorgeous!

As the previous poster indicated, this is unusual and is quite temporary. Highs in the 80's tomorrow and then the 70's for the rest of the week. I've been in Orlando for 90 degrees with 90% humidity, and I'll take this any day.

We're there this coming week too and I am so hoping that it is a bit cooler than 100!!! Anything in the mid to high 70s is comfortable.....

It's days like this that I'm glad that I work in an air-conditioned building (even if it means having to deal with stage moms...I work as an usher at the performance hall on my college's campus), because the San Fernando Valley was just as hot. Luckily, the weekend I'm going to DL, it's supposed to be mid-70s.:cool1:

It was so hot yesterday, we left early. I am from California, but this was just too hot. Weather.com predicted 79 for Saturday when I checked on Tuesday. Had I known it would be closer to 100, we'd have done some things different. Even with a slight breeze, we were pretty miserable.

Wow! It's cooler in Texas than California. That doesn't happen very often.

I am glad I wasn't there for that! We were there last August for a heatwave, and it was like 107 for all three days! Brutal, I tell you.:worship:

Lisa,

The heat this past weekend was pretty intense, but last year's August/September heatwave was unbearable. Don't know how you did it.

It was almost 110 last August (or was it early September?) at Disneyland. It was AWFUL.

Blech -

we were in the 70's all last week, and then at 80 and 83 over the weekend, and then dropped to 42 today. Ahh, the wacky crazy weather of Indiana.

The weather sure has been interesting lately, hasn't it? 90's and 100's in April in So. California - certainly not what I grew up with (in Pasadena area), but no surprise the way the weather's been changing. I hope it's not too bad when I get there in a couple of weeks - but I'll just be happy to be "at home" once again regardless... :)
