Going to be at Disneyland for the first time since 1972. (WDW vet) Really looking forward to it but we will be out of our element there.
What are the most difficult rides to get on. What FPs should we hit when first entering, and so on. Will be there 3 days with hoppers so any suggestions or tips on how to do the parks would be appreciated.

There's a list on here somewhere that has the rides that are the same between WDW/DL and different. I would take a look at that and make it a point to hit the ones that are different. If you are going to take advantage of you MM in DL then I'd start with PP followed by the other rides in FL then over to SM. Once the park opens get a FP for IJ then ride POTC or BTMRR. If you are staying on property which gives you EMH then start DCA at TSMM, Screamin, Soarin, and RSR. I highly recommend riding RSR in the day and night, two very different experiences, we prefer night. Happy planning!
