Disneyland Help

I'm posting this here instead of California/Disneyland forum because I think DVC members are "more in the know." We have a DL trip planned and since it's close to my daughter's 10th birthday, I thought it would be so special to get a Disney photographer (not photopass) for a private session. I called MS and they said DL had that available. Gave me a phone # but when I called, it was a department that had nothing to do with photography. I asked if they had a photography department that I could call and was told no. I called DVC back, told them what I'm trying to do and what just happened and then they give me another number. Again, dead end. Does anyone have any information that can help me? Thank you.

Although I do not have direct experience with a photography request, I would think you may have better luck by contacting GCV front desk directly for a referral. Perhaps a request of concierge?? tel:714-635-2300

I'd post on the DL board. There are plenty more " in the know" on DL stuff there. You'll likely even find people to comment on 3rd party photogs out there.

I agree - post on the Disneyland thread for sure. There aren't that many DVC members based in DL.

Unlike Disney World Disneyland does not have a fine arts photography department. Even brides have to hire an outside photographer for their Disney Weddings in DL. They do however have a much more relaxed policy about outside photographers shooting in the park. I'd try and find a local photographer who's work/style you like and work with them.
