Just lurking for fun this morning. It appears that we have more queues available than we have folks who need them. It will be interesting to see when races sell out. We are a long way from the old days when race stayed open for weeks/months, but today will be telling as far as trends go.

This was the fastest rD registration ever for me! I am absolutely shocked at the 180 from 2 weeks ago. I’m in for the 5K & 10K.

Hmmm… starting to wonder if pent-up demand we saw last year is dropping off… or if the later date is keeping people away, or if registration on a holiday week is keeping people away… It seems far less busy/fraught this year. I just opened a brand new registration window and got 55 minutes… and everything is still avaliable, and people are getting registered…

Edited to add - ok, I spoke too soon.. now the 5k and 10k are sold out.

So standard from last time is holding fairly close at least with the 5k

Just want to give a shout out and thanks to everyone here, encouraging others, sharing their links. I'm a regular on the DL board, but didn't even know about this forum until the Halloween races were announced. And then kinda forgot about it after I didn't get in for September. I'm looking forward to hopefully being here regularly now, especially as I haven't been following along before now. I have a lot to catch up on (eek, gotta book a hotel) and looking forward to preparing with you all!

I mean selling out in under an hour for both the 5 and 10 is still incredibly fast when comparison to the average non rD weekend. So I wouldn’t say there is less demand. We just have a skewed view

It's definitely going to drop off from the mass chaos last time but part of this is that they changed how many people they let flow through the queue at a time. The real test of demand dropping off is if you'll be able to just drop in late in the day and sign up with no queue.

Yes; I just opened up a new browser for fun and it showed a 26 minute wait.
