Disneyland Half Marathon- Best viewing spots

Hi!
Anyone going to the Disneyland Half Marathon? I'm wondering where you've found the best places to cheer from are.

Last time I cheered for my runner at Mile 1, 6 and 13, but the trek from mile 1 to mile 6 was pretty long and I almost missed him. What can I say, he runs A LOT faster than I walk !

If you're staying around the resort for cheering, you could cheer on DL Dr near Katella or where you stood at Mile 1. Or you could even go to where we cross from DCA to DL. They have the course roped off, but there are a lot of people that line the rope to cheer. Futher into the race, you could go on the other side of the overpass on DL Dr, where we come out right after Mile 4 as we turn the corner onto Ball. Lots of people on the corner there. Not sure how fast your runner is and it all depends on the security lines, but you could cheer along the parking lot entrance on Harbor right before Mile 12, then walk over through DTD to the finish. But if your runner is fast that one might be a tough one to make. The plus side to the Disney Way is that there really aren't a lot of "spectators." They're mostly people walking to the park so if you have a sign or your runner is looking for you, it would be easy to spot. And another plus is that if you're on Disney Way, I think there are trees along the side walk so you'll have some shade if it's sunny.
