The “flavored” churros are never as good as the original churros. Some of the dips are okay. But the best churros are from the cart in the entrance circle (where the tree/pumpkin usually is).

Tomorrow at 7:35 lol. I booked this through the travel rewards card I got kinda recently so I'm getting my first experience seeing if I can knock out a switcheroo. Problem is that it looks like there are *no* Alaska flights going to LAX from the NYC area, I'd have to imagine a bunch of them, maybe all of them use the same plane. They're working on getting me on a Delta flight instead but if that doesn’t work I have another flight in mind and I’ll just get a refund for the Alaska flight.

I'm so behind in catching up on the thread, but uh... Anyone need/want a magic feather? I may have done something ridiculous thinking it was a good idea at the time to hand out to DDD runners . Did not think through the logistics of actually handing them out.

Currently on a plane headed to SNA! I can't wait for everything this weekend. Talked to/saw a few others who are running this weekend before boarding. So fun to see how many of us there are coming from all across the country/world.

A bit of an adventure on my connecting flight but I made it. Apparently there is a wheelchair in a cabinet for emergencies that must be onboard before you can fly. Ours was missing (thanks to the flight attendant who alerted the captain to that ... not!). We weren't allowed to leave without it, and they couldn't find one for us. I was pretty sure they were going to cancel the (full) flight, but miraculously they found another plane for us with the same seating! We de-boarded, changed gates, and 2 hours late we were on our way. So lucky/not lucky! But very relieved to have made it. People were taking pictures of the cabinet (with missing chair) as we de-boarded to post on social media as a "believe it or not" type of thing. You learn something new every day. I could hear the flight attendants talking, wondering how many flights had gone without it. I guess the airline could be subject to all kinds of fines, etc.

I haven’t looked into it much, but was there confirmation that Gold club rD members get in at 9:30am tomorrow morning? Dropping our youngest off for one more day of high school and then heading over to the expo

I was up front for yoga at security until I got behind someone with a full backpack and full tote .

Went from 9th back to at least 25th. On the plus I'm pretty toasty. My thermals are doing their job without the mylar blanket I grabbed just in case. Also got to see them get more finishing touches done on the course start/finish on Disney Way since I walked right past it at 2:30am.


The CM was funny:

Whelp I guess sleeping okay the night before my flight is coming back to bite me because I'm wide awake at 4am. Do we think I can sneak into the yoga since I'm up?

Virtual queue for the expo is showing up in the app as opening at 7am. My app is also showing that I'm not eligible for the queue based on my location but I'm assuming that will go away when it actually opens. If not, cue the panic.

Also, all day yesterday my sister and I were saying we regret not signing up for the half. Even though there's no way we would have been able to train. So I guess we have unfinished business with runDisney and we'll be back for another weekend at some point.

I'm literally sitting in front of the castle and mine still says that. So should be a thing for everyone and it's just that it's not open yet
