Disneyland Half Marathon 2024

This makes it sound like if you did Track 1, then did Springtime Surprise/Princess/W&D and the DL Halloween HM you'd get two C2C medals.

Yeah which doesn’t surprise me they were saying you would get two medals if you did both tracks before. Now just the options have expanded with the Halloween race

I don't think it was possible before, based on the info here. That graphic specifically says, "The same race cannot be used to quality for both Coast to Coast medals." So I'm doing Dopey then Dumbo then Springtime, so I get the track 1 medal, but it looks like I can't count Dumbo twice, so I can't get the track 2 medal. Right?

Correct to both, they had it listed as not possible to get both before this.

It looks like now you get C2C for each “set” you complete.

depends on if your doing marathon to dl also. If you’re doing that you get the first C2C medal. Any other combo will result in one Track 2 medal. You can’t earn it twice. You can earn one of each track once

Yeah, if I'm reading it right, you can do Club 71 for Track 1, and then you'd reset yourself, and can do anything else at WDW + DL Halloween for Track 2.

Knowing Disney lawyers, this is probably further clarified somewhere because they want people to do more race weekends, but technically by running the Dopey and Goofy challenges doesn't that get you 2 qualifying WDW races?

Everything laying out the different tracks says Marathon OR half marathon. The fine print says that multi race challenges qualify, but nowhere does it say each race weekend only qualifies once, only that each race does.

That's a good question! However, it doesn't help me, since I need 2 qualifying DL races.

The 10K should be on Saturday, unless they decide to change the typical schedule for some reason.

I’m kinda going to be missing a 4th as well since I’m planning to try for the Halloween race. Except the one I’ll be missing is Marathon weekend. Because I decided when they put Dumbo and Dopey back to back I couldn’t do it. To say the least I’m happy that 2025 is at the end of Jan so I can hopefully return to doing Dopey again

I'm in the same boat and LOVE Halloween at DL. So I'm 90% sure I'm doing it. Extra C2C is just a bonus, but I'll take it! (FWIW, when I did 2017 Tink they gave me both the blue and pink C2C at the finish, as I had done Princess, so I don't think they are too stingy about extra C2C medals.)

I love the Disneyland Halloween theme weekend, but I can only do one a year. So at some point I will do this race point. I will slowly work my way through all the races. Now I just have another to add to the list.

First time charity bib holder and I've got questions about bib pickup.

My family of 4 (DD, DS, DH and me) will be running the 10K. I was not able to grab a bib during the registration rush for DH. I'm doing everything for fundraising, communication etc. but his name will be on the bib.

I'm flying on Thursday to get to the Expo but DH will be flying in on Friday with the kids.

I'll be done fundraising for this last bib at the end of the month and then they will send a registration link.

Is charity bib pickup mixed in with the regular bib pickups? If so, should I use my name on his registration and just ask for a different name to be printed on the bib so that I can pick up his bib? Is there an issue with having two registrations with my one name? I know, he should arrive in time on Friday to pick up his own bib, but I'm trying to avoid having to go to the Expo twice if I can.

Charity bib pickup is with the regular bib pickup. Unfortunately, I don't think even spouses can pick up bibs for their SO, so he would have to pick his up on Friday. There's no printing of names either at the expo since all of that is done ahead of time.
