Disneyland Half Marathon 2024

I’m now back in my room for the rest of the day. I’ll get out to get lunch and dinner, but aside from that, it’s now recovery and prep for tomorrow.

Finally here. In a Lyft from lax. All the hype about lax being so terrible was totally overblown. I had a seamless experience getting bag, getting the shuttle to laxit and no wait for a Lyft.

I see some jackets on ebay for 250. At least I finally know what they look like.

Waited in line to check expo for restocked merch. Was in the first group that got in. Sadly they did not stagger anything like they said they were trying to do.

All pins out as of right now are everything they have. A lot is sold out. No 10k medal replica for me unless a miracle happens

Now if someone goes and happens to see I was told an untruth, I'd really appreciate someone posting about it . Maybe willing to hold onto it and I'll rush over?

Is there times posted when each coral closes on Sunday (& Saturday)? Cut off times to get into your Coral?

One other question.... it's there security to get into the coral? I'm not walking thru DTD so I was thinking I won't go thru any security, but also wasn't sure if that was safe.....?

There are start line closure times. There will be a bunch of other runners walking, so it should be safe. I’ve never felt unsafe walking from my hotel (usually Hotel Indigo) to the start of runDisney start lines.

I didn't see any 10k pins or half pins at all . I was on a mission only for the medal replica versions so I'll be honest I didn't look super closely, but I also definitely didn't notice them.

Saw DDD, yoga, kids races, weekend (regular and MK), and 5k pins.

Loungefly is gone for sure they said.

Also gone, but I didn't ask or overhear about:
The water bottle holder is gone. A lot of sizes for both weekend jackets are gone (especially the smaller sizes).

DDD magnets seem to be gone. Didn't notice them at least.

Probably a few other things

I saw tons of the ears, though. And the shoe ornament.

Family travel update: My mistake - The drive is 4.5 hours, not three. Bless my husband for being willing to make that drive with the kids and then get on a long flight. They're about 40 miles out from MSP.
