I could be way off on this but iirc when they used to do these i think they had check-in in an event space at one of the hotels? I had only stopped by to pick up my bib so I have a vague memory of it.

That’s where it used to be, before official merchandise demand exploded. The merch was a large booth at the vendor expo. I have no idea how they’re going to handle the demand now.

A lot of people bet their stay at DLH thinking the start line would be there, and then they moved it to east of the parks. It's been 6 years since the last Disneyland race (or any race in Anaheim it looks like), so I think this is a clean slate.

What other potential spots are there, I wonder? I think they recently closed the Marvel store they had inside that large building in DCA, but I'm assuming they wouldn't put it there unless there's an easy way to get in from outside the park.

So, I realize it's just an example graphic in the virtual queue step-by-step instructions, but the last graphic for Disneyland instructions says that the location of the runDisney merchandise is at the Disneyland Hotel in the Exhibit Hall. Did anyone else notice that?

I was just able to snag a night at VGC for the night after the half marathon!

Was it a studio?? I think Friday is when we decided to drop that night and just head home after the half (we’re local )!

There is a way to get to the Avengers superstore from the esplanade which they had set up during the COVID closure at DLR. I doubt they would use that now though as it would cause more confusion/chaos in the already busy esplanade.

There is a conference area at the GCH, but that is also not as easy to get to as the DLH set up they previously always used.

Did you also let go of the Monday night at the same time? If so, then yes I grabbed your room!

I was amazed it took over 24 hours for someone to book the Monday night!

Pancakes are my favorite pre-race carb. Seriously considering having them for dinner the night before this half. It is not easy to get pancakes on-property after breakfast hours at WDW!
