Here is a group shot from the kick off of the VIP tour, in front of the castle.
We had a great lunch at Blue Bayou and really enjoyed our tour group today. I headed home this evening, a little earlier then planned, to check on Parker and the family....but just wanted to share the picture for those waiting for news! I think everybody is having a ball!

OMG!!!!! I love, love, love it!!!!!! Ya'll look so great! Love the shirts, love the lanyards, love it all!!!!


WHAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! I am sooo bummed I'm not there. Darn real life crap, getting in the way!!!

All I wanna know is who's going to come and have dinner with me in June??? Don't make me beg! You know you wanna go back......

Hi. I saw some ladies in the blue shirts as I was checking in but I haven't met anyone yet. There are 3 other rooms on my floor that are DIS Ladies. I know this because the someone (hotel maybe) put Lime Green Mickey Heads on the doors. So cool!

Shoot, I'm looking at that pic and I can only recognize a few faces! I see Shelley for sure with her hat. And a few others I can tell from the pics they posted. But there are some that I'm going to need a list to make out who's who!

Some of the girls on the 4th floor told me that the hotel had a guy going around to all the Dis ppl's doors and placing the large green mickey ears on their doors. (they caught him sitting and taping the backs of them...lol

I thought that was very cool of the hotel!

They don't call it splash mountain for nothing....good thing it was a very warm day!! LOL

On board the Lilly Belle - which is really special. Our guide told us tidbits about Walt and the park while we rode it completely around.

I work today, but hope to meet up with them tonight for fireworks or fantasmic. I know some in my group had seating for the Pixar parade and fireworks tonight (if I remember right)

Thanks! He's doing a little better each day. Had a big seizure yesterday morning, and the wonderful hubby I have, took the day off to stay home with him because he knew how excited I was to go to lunch & the tour. Thats kind of why I headed home a little earlier then planned

Here's a readers digest version:
Once we took the group shot in front of the castle, they broke us into groups of 10. We had 2 scooter gals in our group, so I'm not sure how this changes any access info. We headed to ride the Lilly Belle first, but it was taken already so we entered HM instead. Our tour guide, Andrea, gave us lots of DL facts and info while we waited. After HM, we tried again to ride the Lilly Belle, which took a bit of time for it to come around and be empty for us. We did ride it completely around and again she filled us in on lots of info and answered any questions we had. We then went to Jungle cruise which is always funny. Then to Splash Mnt. We had told her we'd like to see the Alladin show, so she got us priority seating for the last show which was at 6pm. We did make potty stops as needed and were able to stop and get drinks or snacks. It was completely up to us what we all wanted to do, so I would definitely have a wish list ready, so you don't waste time coming up with stuff. Also if you have any facts you want to know about Walt or the parks, bring them with you (and write the answers, as there were so many, I can't remember them now!! lol) We had 3 choices of priority seating - 1 parade, 1 fireworks and 1 fantasmic show. This got a bit confusing, as we found out Adventures by Disney kind of bumped us out of times we thought we had, so they had to re-think that strategy. It all worked out fine, I think, so far.
I would definitely look into it, as you can get alot of stuff done during your tour time.
