Disneyland Girls Only Trip thread

I absolutely HATE the day before I leave for a trip. I'm a mess with nerves and I just pace around the house stressing about what I may have forgoten to pack and not accomplishing much except bugging my dh way too much. Oh, just remembered I haven't packed my AP. Well, that would be fun, wouldn't it??


Ahhhhhhhh! This day is gonna take forever to get through.

Tell everyone HI! We'll be there tomorrow. And I'm NOT bringing bail money so you all better BEHAVE!! (like that's going to happen!)

Update: It all fits! I'm very impressed with myself, I usually really overpack and bring 2 outfits per day, so this is good!!!

I know somewhere in a previous post you said what you were going to be wearing tomorrow, but please remind me. I'll be wearing a white t-shirt with the same picture on it as my avatar.

Because almost everyone is gone .

I keep having to hold myself back from jumping in my car and heading to DL to meet everyone for dinner (I only work 15 minutes from DL) but alas I have loads of work to do before tomorrow .

I just have to be patient until tomorrow .

If I don't check in tonight, I hope you, Callie & Ellen have a safe flight .

And I just looked at the SW website and they recommend getting to PHX 2 HOURS before the flight!!!

I would have a hard time if I lived that close. My DD goes to school about 15 minutes north of Anaheim; of course she has an AP and is going to meet me there tomorrow and stay through Sunday.

Parker is doing well from his surgery on Monday. Made it thru 1/2 day school today, so hopefully the same or more tomorrow. My plan is to head over once he is home from school, so I'm shooting for 4ish and should make it to Billy at 5ish (pencil me in Chris!)

I'm also in for BB lunch and VIP tour on Friday.

Looking forward to meeting everybody. I got a sneak peek meeting with Cheryl on Sunday, that was fun!

I'm glad to hear he's doing well.

I have been watching the planning, green with envy, wishing the time was right for me to go, but it isn't! Maybe next time. Well, I am crying in my beer tonight, thinking of not getting on the airplane!

But, I hope you all will have a simply wonderful, magical journey. Can't wait to read the trip reports!

I am so sorry to say that I don't have the final details on seating arrangements for Fireworks and Fantasmic yet. I sent all of our requests to the disney specialist and after several phone conversations (and a lot of attitude), I have no answers. I have been waiting all afternoon for an email that details exactly what they can do for us. I am so stressed and upset about the whole thing.

I hope a letter to a supervisor and someone Chris/Califgirl and I met on the Segway tour will help us with an answer in the morning. I don't know what else to do.

It will all work out. Thanks for all your hard work.

Hope you ladies have a great Thursday in the parks! I wish I was there enjoying the low crowds and nice weather. It's supposed to heat up this weekend, especially on Sunday. 90 degrees -- OUCH!

Honestly, I could care less about DL. I've been there so many times, and can always go with my family since we have APs. What I'm bummed about is not meeting everyone!!!!!

Oh well. I'm hoping at some point to be able to meet up with a few that live close by sometime. Maybe for a quick dinner some night on our next trip in June. We'll see.

Wow, it's depressingly quiet around here. I'm bummed that I won't get to the park until late morning Saturday. Plus all of the crazy Dis ladies will be partying it up, and I'll be stuck with a smelly boy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I do love my husband, but I'll try to ditch him for a bit to hang out with the girls.

In fact I was going to offer up my DD to see if she could get some answers for you. She works tomorrow from 8:00-4:15 pm. She usually works phone room or info booth, but could check with the VIP dept people. If you'd like, just let me know.
