I just uploaded pics to Shutterfly. And I am so bummed!!! When we went on Buzz, I got the highest score I've ever had, and it doesn't show in the picture!!! And Ellen had her highest score the time before and the picture was "Lost in Transmission" What's weird about it is that we both got the same score, 464,500!!!

Well since I was bored this morning, I decided to start a TR on my whole ONE day at DL. I'm going to see how long I can stretch it out.

Question- what is the going rate for the tooth fairy. anyone have any ideas on how to make it more special?

I've had weird things like that happen to my Buzz pics too. Once I got a pic with no scores, and another time, it switched mine and dd's scores, so it said she had 500,000, and I only had 2,500!

Hi Lisa. We give our kids 50 cent pieces or silver dollars. I'd say the FIRST tooth is worth a silver dollar in our family. We also leave fairy dust (glitter) under the pillow with the money.

They do grow up too fast!
I usually stick some little coloring book under there or some little toy. Then as they got older it was money. Usually a dollar or two.

Funny story:
When we first moved from CA to MI, one of the kids lost a tooth. I had stuff every where, we weren't settled in yet, we were so far from town, and I had nothing to put under the pillow. Nothing. Not even some change. All we had was a $10 bill. So, we had to use that. We figured it was ok since it would just go into her piggy bank anways.

Well, school had started so the next day my DD goes to school and when the teacher sees her missing tooth and asks if she got anything from the tooth fairy, she tells her she got 10 bucks!!!

We were totally new to this town, and I have no doubt that the teacher was shocked and probably proceeded to tell the other teachers over lunch how this new family from California gives their kids $10 for each lost tooth!!

We always gave the gold dollar coins. They still have all of them, and I still have all of the teeth!
