Disneyland for the first time in 9 days. Any last minute, advise.
I can't wait to go.

Get there at least 30 mins before scheduled opening. Use FP early and often. Take a mid day break. And most importantly HAVE FUN!!!

Make PS for Rainforest Cafe. We always go on the day/night of our arrival. It is fun to stroll the shops and it is an entertaing place to eat. We usually don't arrive early enough to waste one of our entries into the park but if we do then we save the Rainforest Cafe for the day we leave.
I agree with the Blue Bayou - it is a must. If the prices give you sticker shock go for lunch. The Monte Cristo is great!
If you have small children I suggest breakfast at the Plaza Inn, Pooh and his pals come around and pass out balloons. It is a blast! Great variety of food. Take a drink with you as you leave.
Goofys Kitchen is also alot of fun. Try to go on a day when you won't be in the park, it takes quite a bit of time.
The Bangle Bar-B-Q in Adventure Land has great healthy fast food. My sister and I eat there for lunch whenever we can.
Take a towel with you and store it in the lockers (in and out privilages all day), use it to put on the curb or on a bench for the parade. It is too hot to sit on otherwise. There are always benches open during the parade because nobody can sit on them.

Expect big crowds at Disneyland and lighter crowds at DCA. But do get a FastPass for Soarin' at DCA and try to see the Electric Light Parade. Get to the Fantasmic end of the park early because I never saw so many CM's waving those flashlights in the opposite direction of where we wanted to go. We had FastPasses for the Haunted Mansion and it was VERY hard to get around them to get to the ride with me having to stretch the truth a little. Hey, I don't give up the Haunted Mansion without a fight!
