Hello Everyone!

I hope that your day is going good.:goodvibes

I saw something somewhere about a Disney Wine and Food Event.

When is it?

Is there an extra ticket needed like the miley birthday party?
If so how much do they run?

Have You been?
If so how was it?

This is something i want to plan to attend with my husband.. i think he would really enjoy it.

Thank You for helping me learn more about it!:grouphug:

The event this year was in March and April and held in DCA in the Pacific Wharf area.

Some of the events/demos were included with the price of admission. These included cooking demonstrations from DLR chefs and also included wine tastings from California winemakers. I went to two demos one where the chef made risotto, which was delicious, and to a tasting for Carino Cellars. Their wine was also delicious:thumbsup2 Best of all these were free.

They also opened up the quick service location to serve/sell higher end small plates. Also, I believe each dining location had fancy option added to their menu for the wine festival.

They also have separate events that you have to pay for, like the party for the senses or cooking classes at the Napa Rose or other things like that. I didn't participate in those, so I can't say how they were.

Hi Andy! My name is dawn..it's nice to meet you.

Thanks for answering my questions.

I read about a Private Dinner Tasting that Annual Passholders could purchase tickets for $100 to attend... Do You know anything about that?

Also was it really crowded?

OOooohh For Sure i want to save to go to some of those things you mentioned.. they sound like great things for a couples trip!

One of my best friends lives in Oahu.. when she got a very unexpected divorce..she was devestated..and moved in with us for 3 months.. during that time..i told her.. you have no children..no family ties here { she's from Canada}... why not go to hawaii.. hawaii will heal you...and you will discover new things about yourself.

So i went and helped her settled in..unpacked everything while she got started at her new job and cooked then froze all her food for a month.. it was so hard to go home..it was like leaving one of my children.

But you know what?...Hawaii did heal her. She is even better than before!

Hawaii is a Very Special place with Wonderful people.

:goodvibes
