Hello-
Considering going to Disneyland Presidents Day week next year. We don’t have flexibility with timing due to kids sports schedules and my husband is a teacher. So the school vacation week is Presidents Day week.
We went that week in 2020 and had sunny weather around 70 degrees in the day for most of the week. I saw this year it rained a lot that week and was cool.
Looking to hear from folks who go consistently around that time- what can we expect for weather and crowds?
Thanks in advanced.

That weekend is definitely busy, and the weather is super unpredictable…🥴 This year has been rainy and freezing for us locals. Some years it’s more mild and could possibly be sunny. For sure plan for crowds though!

We tend to go most years for President's Day weekend and all my pictures show us in different types of clothing each year. One year we were wearing shorts and t-shirts, another year full ponchos in full rain. This past year was decent, no rain for the two days we were there, cooler one day, and nicer the next. So, there is no way to really know!

I’m used to crowds bc we always do Disney world on school vacation weeks when all of New England descends on Florida!
I just don’t want it to be yucky weather - I’m trying to leave the yucky weather for a week lol.

This winter has been waaaay too cold for this So Cal big baby! 🥶😆 Over it for sure! 🫠 The temps are seriously all over the place 🤦🏼‍♀️

We went in early February this year and didn't have any rain. Some days we wore shorts, some days pants. We typically had pants and sweatshirts for the evenings.

But it really is an unpredictable times so packing layers is ideal. Or taking a break before the evening to change into pants, if needed.

February weather is increasingly unpredictable. If you were trying to escape yucky weather, there’s a chance you won’t. There was no rain that weekend this year, but that weekend was sandwiched between some of the rainiest days we have ever seen here.

Thanks - yeah -and we wouldn’t just be there the weekend: we would definitely be in the general area at least five days bc we are coming from the East Coast.

I did a little research using Weather Underground...

For the last 10 years (2014-2023), President's Day Week in February at Disneyland has been:

Highs ... Low
2014: 64-70 ... 52
2015: 66-75 ... 51
2016: 69-79 ... 51
2017: 60-68 ... 43
2018: 58-68 ... 40
2019: 57-61 ... 37
2020: 67-86 ... 53
2021: 66-82 ... 50
2022: 58-74 ... 42
2023: 55-71 ... 44

So, for a northerner,
2016, 2020, 2021 were hot -shorts and t-shirt - would swim and lie in the sun
2014, 2015, 2022, 2023 were warm - shorts and t-shirt - would swim and lie in the sun
2017, 2018 were chilly - pants and t-shirt weather - would swim then go inside
2019 would be pants and sweater weather - not swimming.

Expect anything.

I was there that week 2022 and pretty much lived in hoodies and leggings.
