Disneyland express ticket - purchase when boarding?

Hi everyone. My girlfriend and I are returning home tomorrow morning via SNA. We came in on the Disneyland express but did not purchase a round trip (my mistake). We are planning on getting picked up at the hojo stop but are wondering if we can purchase our ticket there or when we board? Our hotel does not sell them and the website says to order 48 hours in advance. Any help is much appreciated!

Yes you can! I did it. I also had been worried about the 48 hours deal, but that is just really for purchasing over the internet to make sure your ressie gets through before your boarding day. Purchasing the day of is just fine! You do need to have cash on hand though! It's $22, I believe. And here's a tip, if you can print out a coupon in your hotel lobby beforehand from the DLRX website, I think you get a $5 discount on each ticket!

The bus that picks you up at Hojo's will make a last stop at the Disneyland Hotel, where a ticket agent will come on board. They will take cash or a credit card.

My DW was with me on a buisness trip a few years ago and did a walk on to Disneyland expess with no issues just make sure the pick up times work with your return flight, DW was cutting it close when she flew out.
