Disneyland Express (SNA) to/from Grand Californian

We have pre-purchsed this transfer with our package. Could anyone share their experience? Is it direct service? How long does it take? I understand it departs the GCH hourly at XX:45. If we have a 3:50 pm departing flight, can we take the 1:45 departure or will we need the 12:45 pm? Thanks!

We took it in January from SNA to DLH. That worked fine, however, I believe that if you stay anywhere else but DLH you have to go to DLH first and then onto your hotel, and sometimes they make you wait and transfer to another but. You might want to check their web site for info.
