I've been keeping up with all the stuff going on lately (obviously
) and there's a lot of complete fan videos out of Fantasmic!, DMSEP, Magical Fireworks and Pixie Hollow on
youtube. I can't view the youtube link at work so wasn't sure if it was the Disney made link or the fan videos. Some are in HD and really good quality.
Oh and Dumbo should return every summer. They're saying that Summer Nightastic! will be a new seasonal promotional thing like Halloween or Christmas.
It's so funny the differences in everyones opinions between the two parks. I think a lot has to do with which one each person grew up with and consider their home park. They're totally a different feel and atmosphere.
I personally find DL more appealing. We can stay at a value hotel across the street for $50 a night. Be out our door and through the gates in 10 minutes. Go across the way to DCA in ten minutes or less. DTD the same way. Plus, you can do both parks in 3 days tops. We went for 4 days once basically ended up redoing everything again that day, sometimes multiple times. Four is a bit too much. I like the fact that the park is smaller and more quaint and this feeling of knowing that Walt built the park and walked down those streets makes it all that more special to us.
WDW for me was this huge monstrosity that overwhelmed me. It's so big and spread out. We stayed off site to save money and it seemed like we spent most of our time in transit everywhere. It's just so different, but we DID love it and had a wonderful time despite the in-laws. A trip to WDW for us is usually double the cost factoring in everything. We plan on trying to go next year at some point and are even thinking about Gay Days.
We were in Cali last year, and we did Nappa Valley & San Fran. Someday I'll make it back there. My sister goes alot, as she lives in Cali. She said it's really changed since I was there last...guess it has! 
....unless they bring it to WDW!!!!!!
