We are visiting Disneyland for the first time as DVC members. Not staying at VGC but still curious of what we are offered as a DVC member in terms of discounts, etc. thank you!

Nice thing there is that even a lot of the QS locations give discounts on addition to the sit down restaurants.

The other extremely nice thing is that you will be asked at every register (food or merchandise) if you have an Annual Pass. While your WDW AP generally won't be accepted, (although I've had it happen), your DVC membership card will be. Getting that reminder from the CM is so nice!.

But that's really hard to get. Very few spots open one day a week (not sure how many weeks in a month it's offered)...

I agree even though we were one of the lucky few to get in when we went to DL in 2016. Doesn't hurt to check it out though if their trip is far in the future!

And keep in mind that they have always been quite diligent in asking for IDs at DL so don't forget it or you likely won't get the discount.

We were at DL in early Nov 2016 and the CM's almost always asked if we had a discount. It was nice that they asked instead of me having to remember!

Also, we didn't know about the Soarin behind the scenes tour until we got there and we were still able to get in. Fingers crossed for you! It was awesome!!

And if they don't ask if you have a DVC discount, just ask! A lot of times they asked if we had an annual pass discount, which we didn't, but we said we were DVC and a vast majority of the time they replied "Oh, that works!" Enjoy!

Are the only 2 AP's with a DVC discount at DLR the Signature and the Signature Plus? It says Deluxe are included on the pdf file list of benefits but not on the website. Thanks!
