Disneyland Divas working out, getting healthy, and looking fine in '09!!

Hi guys!

I have not been posting but I have been sticking to my plan. I lost 2.4 pounds last week and still have lots more to lose but it has been nice to see the scale go down. I hate weigh-in at WW. It stresses me out! I just want the number to go down down down! lol

Last Saturday, a woman was weighing in next to me and she was all excited because she lost over 5 pounds in one week. AWESOME, i know! Well, she was going on and on about how she didn't stick to her points and sat around and didn't exercise. :headache:I wish I was that lucky! I would love to see a big loss like that. :wizard:

I hope you all are doing well. I am trying to lose another 10 pounds before the trip so I can wear my summer clothes from last year. Here's to hoping!:dance3:

Hi ladies!

Last night was pizza night. We went to Papa Murphy's (as usual) and normally we get Hawaiian AND Garlic Chicken. Well, since I am on WW and keeping points, I would not have had enough to enjoy a nice slice (or 3) of my favorite Garlic Chicken pizza. Well, I ordered the new Artichoke Chicken deLite pizza. OMG! It was soooooo flippin good!! I had two slices for 8 points! And they were pretty decent sized slices. I just had to share with you all...if you like Papa Murphy's, give this one a try!:thumbsup2

My first week WI was during my TOM and my clothes were so flippin' tight. I was sure I gained. I ended up losing over 2 pounds. I hate TOM. I always seem to bloat a few sizes.:headache:

I totally understand how you feel. This time of year it seems as if I am always glum. It makes me want to eat.

I have been doing fairly well, but I had a big event tonight at the SpaceNeedle and there was so much good food and fun that I had to indulge. I did eat pasta and alfredo sauce and prime rib and shrimp and mushrooms. Oh yum. It was fabulous. So I am not going to weigh myself tomorrow, because it will be too sad if I gained. But today before the party, I went to the gym and did 30 minutes on the treadmill and 30 minutes lifting weights and I weighed myself when I changed my clothes and I am down 3 pounds from last week. I am so dang thrilled and really motivated to get back on the program again tomorrow. So there you go, it is really Friday right now and that is my story and I am sticking to it! Hope your weigh in's all go really well and have a great weekend.

The good news is I had a good loss this week. The bad news is I picked up some kind of bug and have felt HORRIBLE since yesterday!! Achy, dizzy, diarrhea...yuck. I actually fell flat on my back in the middle of the night trying to get to the bathroom...everything was just spinning. I almost woke up Paul to have him take me to the ER but I spend enough darn time in that place so I drug my butt back to bed and waited it out.

So I'm sure that helped me lose a little. I'm now at 235.5. Can't remember exactly where I was last Friday since my head is so goofy right now but I know I've lost 8 pounds since I started so I'm happy with that!! 12 more to go to reach my goal of 20 before our trip!

We'll see....right now I just want to feel better. I'm trying to drag my butt to work for a few hours.

I've never heard of Papa Murphy's but I do like pizza!! I'm glad you found one you like and are able to stay within points while eating it.

Oh Amy, I'm sorry to hear you've been so sick. I hate things like that, and I hope you are better fast. Congrats on the loss though!! You are well on your way to a 20 lb loss. :cool1:
 
Well, this week sucked for me. I just didn't care. Didn't care what I ate, didn't care if I walked or not. I spent a lot of time moping around and laying in bed. So needless to say I am up 2.4 pounds from 219 to 221.4.

I am just to focused on my dentist appt that I can't think of nothing else. I've spent most of my waking hours this week obsessing over it, reading about tooth extractions, watching youtube videos and just generally making myself miserable and scared almost to the point of panic attacks.

Anyway, I don't want to depress everyone so I'll hush up now. I hope you all have a nice and healthy weekend!! :)

So, I'm up one pound this week. Not sure what that's all about. I've been good this week, but was bad last weekend. Oh well.

I did run today and made it two miles without my leg acting up. So that's good! Here's to getting all better by Monday, so I can have one more long run before I taper for the 1/2 marathon.

And just in case there are any walkers left out there (and, no, it is NOT too late to join!)

For this weekend we have:
Saturday: 1.75 m walk
Sunday: 35-60 min walk

And for the QUOTE OF THE DAY
Anything I've ever done that ultimately was worthwhile... initially scared me to death.

and weighed myself.

I gained 8lbs in the past 1.5-2 months of bad eating and not exercising. I did my 30 minute cardio session yesterday but I don't know if I'll be going today because of family. I'll go tomorrow and on Monday I'll be doing Disneyland healthy style.

That's awesome! You earned a nice meal!! I'm sure you won't gain because of one meal when you've been doing so well.

I was down 4#'s this week :) The jacuzzi has been really helping my back and the swimming has helped for exercise. I drank more water for the challenge thing and have been making a lot of yogurt/berry smoothies for breakfast. You know something interesting-- I found that the jets in the jacuzzi really help my stomach also. I don't know if it's because I'm hungry, stomach's shrinking or the exercises I'm doing for physical therapy but my stomach's been all knotted up like it would get for stress. Anyways, I'm really happy, I've lost 9 pounds since I started about a month ago.
