Disneyland.disney.go Not Accepting Credit Card

We arrive in California on Nov 26th. Due to some family matters, I’ve had to delay purchasing our park tickets.

Yesterday I attempted to purchase tickets via the Disneyland web page and the app. Everything went smoothly, selected our park days and reserved our parks, however, when it came to the payment page I was met with red text saying my card could not be verified and to use another payment method. I tried this about a dozen times and was met with the same result. I called the credit card company and they said they could see my attempts and there was no issue with the card, it was Disney that was preventing the purchase.

So, after work today I try again. Same thing, so I called Disney. I was told the address on my profile does not exactly match the billing address of my credit card. I’ve lived at the same address for the last 12 years and have purchased park tickets direct from Disney with no issues before (last visit Oct 2019). But, in an effort to resolve this matter and move on with my planning, I triple checked my profile AND my credit card billing address. They match exactly. The gal I spoke with at Disney suggested my hubby make a profile and he purchase the tickets. We tried that tonight and was met with the same red text.

So, I’m wondering what I may be missing or if anyone has had a similar experience and could provide me some insight. Here’s what I know are my other alternatives:
- Disney says at 21 days from our arrival date (Nov 5), they can make our park reservations for us and we can pay for our tickets at the gate.
- I try an alternate credit card, but I want to use certain points card
- I buy Disney gift cards with my points card - though doesn’t a GC have a max value of $1,000? This would mean I’d still have a balance to pay, and if credit card issues still exist, maybe I suck it up and use PayPal?
- Hubby does not like the thought of buying park tickets through a 3rd party, so UT is no option for me.

Would appreciate any feedback.
Thank you!

You're not using a Brim card by any chance are you? Brim does not support 3DS, so if Disney is using that now, there's no way you'll be able to use a Brim card on the site. I believe the same is true for Home Trust cards, but I'm not 100% sure.

Can you call and buy tickets over the phone?
No, buying over the phone means they will mail hard copy tickets to you. Plus a fee of $25 for doing so. Tickets to be received within 15 business days.
Don’t know why they couldn’t just accept my card over the phone and plunk them into my profile. I was hoping for that, but.....

No, not a Brim card. It’s Westjet MC.

Late night thoughts....... I think I may have resolved my own issue.

With the exchange, a 5 day/one park ticket will be approx. $565 CAD. All this time I’ve been trying to buy 4 tickets at once with my credit card. I’m going to try purchasing one at a time using a Disney GC for each, and complete 4 transactions. Will try this tomorrow and report back for others.

I can confirm that Home Trust cards ARE accepted!

Thanks. Yeah, I just looked it up, and Home Trust cards support 3DS.

But it doesn't look 3DS support is the issue the OP was having.

Well, this worked. A bit of a hassle but a work around. Managed to get the points from GC purchase at the store like I wanted, and no F/E fees for the card.
