When Disneyland first opened The Rivers of America used to be filled with catfish. Visitors to Tom Sawyer Island used to be able to actually fish for them just off the docks. Anyone in our challenge ever fish at Disneyland?

Spend about half an hour actually swimming in the hotel pool(and another half an hour playing with the toddler), which brings me to 560/1100. We had a great day at the park, according to my fitbit we walked over 8 miles while there so I feel a little less bad about the cheating on my diet. I need to learn that it's ok to cheat every now and then and not beat myself up over it(I'm already doing better with that than I did earlier this year so that's some progress).

16 minutes today puts me at

563/1100

I wasn't really in the mood for exercise, but since I was so close to Paint the Night Purple, I told myself that if I got in at least 15 minutes of exercise, I could watch a TV show on my computer before bed. Bribery is always a good way to go!

Sounds like a great day! And with all that activity you need a bit of extra fuel. ::yes::

Whatever works! :rotfl: And you were so close to Paint the Night Parade Purple.

As luck would have it I had a relapse from the bug I got while in NYC, and am finally felling like resuming some exercise. Adding 85 minutes yesterday of gym time and walking and 31 minutes tonight of walking.

161/900

I am absolutely loving the Disneyland facts and trivia! It sure makes me want to go!

Hope you are feeling better soon! :flower3: Glad that you are enjoying the DL info and I hope that you do get to go there some day because it truly is a different experience. :cool2:

37 minutes of walking brings me to 683/1000 I'm going to be very happy when running group starts again on June 30th because I need that group motivation! ::yes::

As of now we have 2155 minutes to go to get the TEAM to Paint the Night Parade Purple -- let's try to hit that milestone by the end of the day Friday!

Today we are jumping back over the berm to Disney California Adventure where there is a newly imagined land!

Grizzly Peak Airfield is now open at Disney California Adventure park, and it’s already a hit with guests. This expansion of Grizzly Peak takes guests into California’s High Sierras for a taste of what life was like for the brave men and women who fight wildfires in our California forests in the middle part of the last century. One popular destination in this newly reimagined area is Smokejumpers Grill … which has quite a story of its own. Click here if you want to read more about the backstory of Smokejumpers Grill (formerly known as Taste Pilot's Grill) http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/bl...rs-grill-at-disney-california-adventure-park/

I am the only one still in black!!! :scared1:

Well, I did not get to do any runs during my cruise. Instead I ended up with an aching back!! I went to see the doctor yesterday and I am already improving. I did A LOT of walking around the different ports, but don't really count that towards my activity minutes. But I will count the one hike we did which was up and down 2000 feet in elevation to a beautiful waterfall!

So: 240/600

35 minutes run/walk
730/1200

hey team, I'm back from Canada and the World Cup!

I bring 468 fitness minutes back with me which brings me to 1050/2000

I ran 5.32 one morning
I found a short trail at the campground and did some interval training another day
I went to the beach and did some sprint drills - running on sand, in the wind = wowee on a diffent day
most of my minutes came from walking to the matches. We didn't want to deal with the shuttles and lines (think almost like the Animal Kingdom closing time) so we parked miles away and walked.

the World Cup was amazing. I wish women sporting events got more support. It's super competitve and they play a great game!

Camping went will 5 nights in the tent is a lot of together time but both dh and I made it back from Canada. there were some frost warnings, so it was pretty cold at night. But it was nice, and I'm not at all ready for the vacation bubble to burst, but it's back to routine tomorrow.

Purple by Friday? We've got that!

Welcome back from your awesome trip! :cool2: Not only were you not the only one who had not turned color but you are firmly in Space Mountain Orange now. Hope that your back is feeling better. :flower3:

Sounds like a fabulous time! :cool2: Who would have thought it would still be cold in June? :confused3

42 minutes walking brings me to 725/1000. I'll be making sure I get enough minutes to turn Sleeping Beauty Pink tomorrow -- who is joining me? Lots of people are close so let's do this! :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:
