Hello, I am new here and hope I am posting to the right place. I was hoping someone could help me find where the Matterhorn Sundae is in Disneyland? Also, what would an estimate of the price be? Thank you very much!

From allears.net

Carnation Cafe

Matterhorn Sundae - Four scoops of vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry, topped with caramel, hot fudge, and strawberry, then piled high with whipped cream and a cherry. $7.99

I think our Matterhorn sundae had 3 scoops of ice cream in it, not 4. We were robbed!:lmao::lmao:

And if you want an even bigger dessert (to be shared with several people), try the Kitchen Sink at the PCH Grill in the Paradise Pier Hotel. It makes the Matterhorn Sundae look small and piddly in comparison!

It's got candy bars, brownies, about 10 different scoops of ice cream and all kinds of toppings and other stuff - everything but the kitchen sink!

:woohoo: Oh yea - the family is planning on trying one of those...

Yum Yummy:cool1:

I remember getting a Matterhorn Sundae @ Bur-r-r Bank Ice Cream way back when, but I have no idea if they still have it there. :confused3

The Matterhorn Sundae is only available at CC on MS. It's not available at BrrrBank, you can get sundaes at BrrrBank but they are the chocolate chip cookie sundaes you can get just about anywhere....you know, we never did get that kitchen sink......

Kitchen Sink! THAT LOOKS AWESOME! PERFECT FOR MY TEENAGER'S BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION AND MOM TOO!

Isn't this the same Kitchen Sink as Disney World, Beaches and Cream?

LOOKS AWESOME! CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!:cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:

Wow I had forgotten about the Kitchen Sink too! I thought someone had said it was only a couple flavors of ice cream. Does anyone know who's ordered it?

I would love to know the details on what is actually included as far as flavors of ice cream and toppings as well! :goodvibes I am thinking that this may just be a treat for the family to share for my b-day! :thumbsup2

Well, here, on the menu for Beaches and Cream, it lists the Kitchen Sink and tells what kind of ice cream:

http://www.intercot.com/infocentral/dining/menus/resorts/beachesandcream.asp

I would imagine, because there are so many scoops of ice cream in the thing, that you could request what you do or don't want in there. I mean, if you wanted all vanilla, I am sure they would put all vanilla. Or if you wanted half chocolate and half mint chocolate, I am sure they would do it. But the toppings are brownies, cake, candy bars, probably a cookie or two, and probably all the typical ice cream toppings/sauces! I think it is typical sundae stuff with all the extra desserts on top, and just very, very large!!:rotfl2:

I think it is Vanilla, Strawberry, and Chocolate, but I could be wrong! Haven't been there in a while!

I think that they should add churros to the sink!

Could work as spoons!

WDW: Kitchen Sink - Eight Scoops of Ice Cream served with all the Toppings in the house and a whole can of Whipped Cream $21.99

DLR: The Whole PCH Grill & Kitchen Sink - Ten Scoops of Ice Cream...then tell us what you don't want on it. $21.99

Good gosh, I wasn't expecting PPH's to be bigger!

Those are from allears' menus by the way.

We, personally, found the ice cream at Disney to be fairly bland and seriously NOT worth much money. I'd never go for the kitchen sink even if DS and DH could eat the things in it AND if we had big enough appetites.

Haagen Dasz, however, definitely worth it, and right there in DTD! And they sell espresso as well, yum.

We got the matterhorn sundae on the last 2 trips @ Carnation Cafe' It does have 4 scoops, 2 of them being vanilla :)
We asked for added bananas one time, they were more than happy to and it made my kiddo happy.

Our Matterhorn Sundae in December 2007 definitely 'only' had 3 scoops - which was perfect, since there were 3 of us sharing it. So maybe they added an extra scoop to the sundae since then to meet popular demand, or maybe they give an extra scoop to groups larger than 3 people. I am not sure. All I know is that ours had 3, but that was quite a while ago. Robbed, I tell you - we were robbed!:rotfl2:
