Disneyland/DCA Swap ELEMENTS: Closed see PROGRESS thread

I heard from everyone that expressed interest in this swap, except SharonLovesMickey. I think she is on vacation through this weekend. I'm going to leave things open until probably Wed, unless we hear from Sharon. I'll take a spot in the groups that I am not in. So that will mean groups will have either 4 or 5 people, so that should still be enough to get a good variety of items.

If we don't have any more takers for the second Toontown group, I was thinking about splitting Mickey & Minnie's House into separate topics, and Disney_rider and estherhead could each take one of the houses. And that would make a group of 7. Would everyone be okay with that?

The Dumbo one will be an interesting one to do because I just finished it for the MK swap - and I obviously don't want to repeat that (plus I don't have anymore of the stickers) - any thoughts on what I can do? I already did a title, photomat, and 3 squares (with stickers) for the MK swap. I still have parts of the original Dumbo sticker sheet left, what can I do with those for this swap? Thoughts???

Maybe you could do a large altered "D" for Dumbo, or a shaker box with feathers in it (maybe in the shape of a circus ball like the elephants stand on) or a circus tent journal box?

Swaps are like crack! The bigger ones like this really suck me in. But now that makes me have 13 groups!!! Good thing these are due late in May because my semester ends the last week of April, and I will only be taking one course in the summer. So lots of free time!

Thanks for the ideas. I actually have an altered "D" for Dumbo from last year's MK swap (I think SusieStone did it ). Maybe I can do the circus tent from PDDU on a journal box (great idea! Thanks!) and a small tag with one of the left over Dumbo stickers. I love the idea of lyrics - I'll have to look up the songs from the movie. And do that to finish the group.

Are you saying 13 groups is a lot? Check out kkbeaton's list...ah, I'll just tell you, she is all the groups! More than me, since the Hollywood Backlot group filled without me. So see, you could do more.
