I just booked our spring break trip to Disneyland. We've gone the past 5 years or so for our Spring break, but in past years, our break hasn't coincided with Easter. Next year it does:scared1: .

Can anyone tell me if Spring break/Easter week is really crowded during that time? :confused3

We have been to Disneyland over Christmas/New Years and it was crowded. I'm hoping spring break won't be as bad.

TIA

I hate to break it to you, but the week before and the week after Easter is one of the worst times as far as crowds. DL plans for it to be packed, with full hours, full entertainment schedule, and lots of crowd control.

We went this past year the day after Easter (march 24th-28th) and it was INSANE. Later on we found out that DL had posted record crowds that week. By 1 p.m., you literally couldn't move at more than a penguin shuffle in Adventureland. After 6:30, ROA was the same-- it took me 15 minutes to get from Rancho de Zocalo to Tom Sawyer Island rafts.

At times, we waited in lines up to 15 minutes just to get FastPasses (for Indy, Space and Soarin').

However, we managed pretty well by using Hydroguy's tips, collecting those FPs and using them later. We took off in the afternoons when those crowds got unbearable, and came back after our rest and dinner and used our FPs.

I appreciate you 'breaking' the news to me! We've been during those crowded times before and we stick to the same type of system! We thought we'd only do a couple of days at the parks and try some new activities like trying to catch an Angels game or possibly explore the beaches. Maybe we'll even just hang out around the pools!;)

Spring Break is probably the 2nd most crowded time at DLR of the year (behind Christmas-New Years). #1 tip: Get there EARLY EARLY EARLY!!! You can get so much done in the first 2 hours even during busy times.

Go early! (oh, and go early) ;)

Thanks for the advice!
