Disneyland CHristmas Decorations

We always go to WDW in early December to soak in the Christmas festivities. We've heard Disneyland decorations are even better than WDW. When do they go up at Disneyland and when is the best time relative to crowds, to go?

They start putting them up in early Nov. By Thanksgiving they are usually ready for the holidays. The first weekend in Dec. is typically the candlelight processional program, which draws big crowds. The two weeks/ weekends following that are a pretty good time to go. Schools arent out for the holiday yet, so the crowds arent typically to bad. They week between Christmas and New Years are the days of the year.
