Rob, I'm not sure whether I'll get chance to pop on later as it's DD's birthday today so I'll wish you a wonderful time now. Hope the work bit isn't too boring and you get chance to see some of Seattle, and have a ball in Disneyland.

Thanks Elaine - The work bit should be really interested because I'm learning about new, unreleased technology. As for Disneyland - I'm sure I'll enjoy that. I know I'm not going to see everything, but I'm going to make the best attempt possible. 7 - 12, 6:30 - 11, 10 - 4 here I come

But... I don't think it's so much brave as it is stupid.

When you've only got 2 1/2 days on a location you ay not visit again for many years, you've got to do some stupid things though

Rob, a huge tip to help you enjoy that long day, take a leisurely lunch at the Blue Bayou to have a rest and enjoy the settings/meal. It's the cheapest time to go to.

As I said, Lunch is the best time to go to the Blue Bayou (plus they do not do their signature Monte Cristo at Dinner time).

So very close now. I'm officially checked in for my flight now. Couldn't get an emergency seat - there's only 9 on the plane and of course these go to people who pay extra money to book them in advance mad.

I've got an aisle seat which is the next best thing though, as I can stretch my legs out into the aisle as required

Did you want the emergency seat for extra leg room?

I did - At 6'2" with a leg length of about 35", emergency exit seats are very helpful. I really struggle in a standard seat, especially when the person in front reclines their seat.

We are travelling together, but have separate bookings, so would struggle to sit together.
