My parents, my 10 yr old cousin and I are going to Disneyland Dec. 28th-29th this yr. we are driving down from valencia, ca early morning of the 28th and leaving late night dec 29th. We have been to DL 3 times in the past 8 yrs and i know we will be back so we dont need to do everything in two days.
This trip is more of a trip to see the christmas decorations and parades/fireworks than to go on the rides

That being said, there are certain things we really really want to do:
DL(in order of preference)
The Christmas Parade
The holiday fireworks
Mr. Toad
Pinocchio
Jungle Cruise
Haunted Mansion
Buzz Lightyear
Peter Pan
Alice in Wonderland
Matterhorn
Fantasmic

DCA:
Grizzly River Run
Soarin
Toy Story Mania
Monsters Inc

We will have PH tickets so do you guys think it will be possible for us to do everything in 2 days or will it be way too crowded?

You can do all that in one day.

Do the major rides first: Matterhorn, Space Mtn, Big Thunder, Splash...then onto the small rides, Alice, Pinnochio, Mr. Toad, etc.

Break it up with the Christmas Parade in the afternoon.

Then head over to DCA and hit Toy Story Mania, Monsters Inc., etc. I would consider doing Soarin', ToT, and CA Screamin' first though.

Have a great time!!! :yay:

Unless you absolutely hate and loath Small World, it's worth checking out for the holidays because of the Christmas layover. At the very least, they light it up with Christmas lights and the clock chime every 15 minutes is something else during Christmastime.

Many of the Fantasyland rides can be ridden with substantially shorter wait times after 10:30-11:00pm even in crowded times.

I'm actually going right before the Christmas~NewYears crowd... (I'm going on the 22nd of December)

I've heard that the Christmas~NewYears crowds are immense!

If you're going for 2 days.. I'm pretty sure that you'dbe able to do all those...

I'd say that you will be able to get all that done in two days, not just one. I've been to DL on the 27th of December and it's so crowded you can barely walk! If you are there for opening and/or stay until closing the crowds will be thinner. But through the bulk of the day it is PACKED at that time. The decorations are a sight to see though, so it's worth a trip for that alone!

You can definately do that in 2 days along w/ enjoying the holiday festivities.
Don't forget Santa's Reindeer Roundup in DL and Santa's Beach Blast in DCA if you want to see more Christmas Stuff.
As for your rides, depending on how early you get there, make Peter Pan your 1st stop. Even after fireworks when they re-open the ride, the line is super long.
