This summer I had a microfracture on my knee. I am planning a trip to Disneyland in December and my dr. said it can take up to a year for my knee to be back to "normal." My problem is standing for long period of times. I am worried about the Fantasmic and parades since I will really need to be able to sit down and watch these shows. Is it possible to get a special assistance pass at DL that would allow me into areas that I could sit and watch the shows?

Hi and :welcome: to disABILITIES!

The normal response from Guest Services for any problem related to mobility or stamina is the recommendation that you rent either a wheelchair or Electric Convenience Vehicle (ECV).

The "disABILITIES FAQ", which is the first post in disABILITIES, primarily refers to Walt Disney World. However the Guest Assistance Card (GAC) policies in both tend to be the same. (And the Special Assistance Pass no longer exists, it has been replaced by the GAC.

Here is a link to another board with rental information for DisneyLand.
