My family will be arriving with a larger group this Sunday for a few days at DL and DCA (Monday, 3/12 at DL and Tuesday, 3/13 at DCA). Our plan was to purchase tickets with MaxPass before we arrive so everything would be ready to go. Question is this...does my wife also need to create a disney account and log into it via her phone or should she just use my account? What are the pros/cons of getting her own account vs using mine?

My daughter just used my account on the app on her phone and it worked out great for us. All of our tickets, fast passes and plans were the same whether we were on my phone or hers. The app and Max Pass did drain my battery quickly so it helped to have a back up. Totally worth the battery drain though and easy to plan for.

Agree that it would be nice to have another phone with all the tickets linked just for another battery.

I just downloaded the app on DH phone and signed in with my account. I never even used his phone. My battery lasted just enough to get me through the day but i also had an external battery charger just in case.

We just have one account and I sign in on my partner's phone. You could make a second account and scan the tickets into both accounts, but I don't see the point. When we're both signed into the same account everything syncs up so not only can we both access MP, but we can also both view and make changes to restaurant reservations, which I'm not sure we could do if we were signed into different accounts.

You couldn't make restaurant changes from a 2nd account.

We had three family members actively using one account with no problems.
