Disneyland app??

is there an app for Disneyland similar to the "My Disney Experience" app for WDW? I'm looking for an app that has wait times, show times, park hours etc.

The closest app for Disneyland would be Mousewait. Its pretty up to date with giving you updated ride times. It does not have all of the features the My Disney Experience has at WDW. But its pretty good for DL.

There is no official app for DLR like there is for WDW. They used to have one, but Disney discontinued it.

To get things like wait times, show times, park hours, etc. there are a couple of apps that folks here tend to mention. Mousewait and Disneyland Wait Times are the two most common free apps that folks talk about. Both rely on guests inside the parks to update the wait times, so they can be erratic in terms of their accuracy. I like the fact that Mousewaits includes the time when the wait time was last updated in its information (so you can see if the wait was last updated hours ago or recently). I like Disneyland Wait Times because the interface is a little cleaner looking and no ads. I have both on my phone and use both while in the parks.

There is also the Ask Otto help line run by Disneyland. I haven't used it, but it is supposed to be able to tell you wait times, FP return times, etc.

There also some paid app (like Lines by Touring Plans), but unless you subscribe already to one of the planning sites with an app, I would probably stick to the free ones.

As OP have said DL doesn't have an app like WDW does.

We subscribe to Touring Plans so we use their wait time app but would definitely try one of the free ones if we were not subscribers

Are they worth it if you aren't going during a peak time?

Its always crowded at DL so mousewait users are always there and on the app updating wait times. If you are going to the park, and using mousewait, create a user login and contribute to the app by updating wait times. (they do not spam you when you sign up) I was at DL last Wednesday and the wait times were current throughout the day except real early in the morning when it was dead. (so I updated them!)

And do not pay for the premium version. The free mousewait is pretty much the same thing.
