Disneyland App, reservations question?

I know you can make reservations via the app but can you cancel them using the app as well?

Yes you can. I made and canceled a reservation within minutes on the app because I realized I made it for the wrong day after reading my confirmation. Since then I have canceled a few others due to changes in plans.

I could not cancel a reservation on the app when it was too close to reservation time and the app prompted me to call. It was more than an hour before our reservation time.

This is online too. It's a known error as far as I can tell. You can still cancel, but because the system is tied to 24 hours, it causes the having to call issue.

The actual window is the day before, but the system does think it has to be 24 hours or more which is annoying. I hate talking on the phone.

As others have said, you can make and cancel reservations within the app as long as you more than 24-hours before the reservation time (e.g., if you have a reservation for 10:00 am on Tuesday, you have to cancel it before 10:00 am on Monday to use the app). I've been able to cancel a reservation online (via the website), within the 24-hour mark, but on the day before (so any time on Monday to cancel a Tuesday reservation). You can also call to cancel a reservation the day before.

If you are attempting to cancel the day before, and the app will not let you, you can go to the website on your browser. Every time I have tried that, I have been able to cancel it on the website instead of having to call. I think you can cancel on the website up until around 10 or 11 p.m. without penalty.
