Disneyland annual pass...Discounts worth it?

Help! Our family went by the local Disney store and picked up temporary cards redeemable for annual passes once we get to Disneyland for our trip from March 9-13. Unfortunately, these cards don't give us access to the Passholder website, and we can't view the discounts for those dates.

Disney customer service seems to be at a loss to give us this info. I know there's a standard 10% discount (we got the "deluxe" pass), but I also know from reading here that there are additional discounts for stays at DLH or GC The rep on the phone indicated I'd need a special code, but she was unable to provide it to me.

Can anyone help me with the code and get me up to speed with the rates for these dates?

If you can do this, I'd name my next child after you. Okay, maybe not my next child, but definitely a goldfish.

AP5 is the code that you need. It looks like all hotels have availability at the AP rate during your stay with the exception of standard rooms on the 12th at the Grand. None of the hotels are showing standard room availability for the night of the 13th.

okay, Boiseflyer is our next goldfish's name. :) Thank you!

Can anyone tell me the rates for GH & DLH on those nights? Standard and concierge?

:rotfl2: I'm honored! DLH standard is $300, concierge is $520. GH standard is $405 but isn't showing availability for the 12th, and concierge is $670. We have stayed PP concierge many times, and there is no way that having access to the lounge is worth the extra $200 IMO.

JIC you might want that information, too. PP is $270 for standard and $380 for concierge.

I just wanted to add that most of us with the temporary tickets for the passes have found that we do have access to the AP website by either entering the barcode numbers. You can edit this later to put the actual AP number in there, but it has been working for some of us.

I'd read that before. I've been lurking for a while, and just created a login today. You folks are fabulous (and truly worthy of having goldfish named after you)! Unfortunately the bar code didn't work for us.

Darn. Well, look one more time at your tickets and see if you have an 18 digit number anywhere on the tickets. The first ticket I tried to use didn't work, but the second one did. But, if it doesn't work, I suppose no harm trying? There are plenty of people still willing to help ya out with whatever info you're looking for.
