We are planning our fall Disney trip and may choose DisneyLand since we have never been there. Now since we haven't been there before, will I be able to enjoy it while being PG?? I pretty much know that CA Adventure is out... but what about the rest of it??

I know WDW well and know I would still enjoy it immensely while PG. I don't mind letting hubby ride the rides I can't but I want to be able to ride some things. Also, I noticed that most sites are dedicated to WDW and not DL so it is hard to find info. Thanks in advance!

I have a couple of friends who went to DL while pregnant (kind of a last "hoorah"), and both enjoyed themselves!

You'll have to stay away from Indiana Jones and Star Tours, but you could do most of the Fantasyland Rides, go out to the island, Pirates, Haunted Mansion, etc. As far as DCA goes, there may be a few things you could do: Muppets 3D, A Bugs Life, there's a movie attraction...personally, I think Soaring over CA is a mild ride, but not sure what Disney's take is on it. There's also the Sun Wheel.

Be sure to make some time for Downtown Disney and to check out the Disneyland Hotel and Grand Californian Hotel!

As far as websites go, you might want to check out the official site, www.disneyland.com and www.mouseplanet.com and I think www.laughingplace.com.

Happy planning, and congratulations on your baby!

Please stay away from ANY of the coasters, and even the Casey Jr. Circus train can be a bit too bumpy.

There is enough atmosphere there that you will enjoy yourself plenty without riding all the rides. I know people who go there for a few days and hardly ride anything at all and have a fine time. I think Soarin' should be fine - it is very mild. On the Sun Wheel, go on one of the stationary red cars, not one of the ones on the tracks.

I was at the resort this past weekend and I actually commented on the number of pregnant women that were there. Just like everyone else has said, there is still quite a bit to do and see :)

My wife and I went while she was PG and we had a great time. We asked the CM at Soarin' over California if it was OK for her to ride and they said it would be fine. She rode it and loved it. As the posts above say . . . you'll have a great time even if you don't go on anything. Disneyland has a much more "magical" feel to it than WDW I think. I could just go and stand on Main Street all day and night and have a wonderful time! Enjoy . . .

By my calculations you may be in the final month or two of your pregancey by the time you go on your trip. California can be very hot in late summer and early fall---with the santa ana winds adding to the over all heat. my advice ---plan carefully and let your body be your guide. Have a great time.:)
