Disneyland and GCA attendance difference?

Yes I did notice it as I was flooding over with them! Disney only counts the first park that the ticket is scanned for the day. So I think DLR gets a bump from always being first. But based on this very small sample size it does like that DLR gets more "hits" per day than DCA.

I wish I knew how to change the title of this thread. I put GCA combining the Resort and the Park DCA and Disney's Grand Californian duh. I just noticed that.

Oh! I didn't know how they counted numbers. That's interesting, and doesn't seem representative of actual numbers since dl often opens earlier than dca. That used to be the case, anyway!

You can change a title by going into edit and clicking Advanced, I think. I know I did it before the boards changed but I'm not sure about it now. Not a big deal, though! People get what you mean.

It should also be noted that the TEA estimates published every year are just that--estimates. A lot of insiders/pros familiar with attendance at the parks claim they are just hogwash. For instance, virtually everyone who is familiar with Tokyo DL believes that park should be listed as the busiest in the world.

DL has more things to do than DCA. More rides and more shows. Plus longer park hours usually. I believe DL draws more attendance because it takes more time to experience DL than DCA. But probably even more important than that is that DL is the better park - and IMO the best park of all Disney parks.
