I thought of a really cool idea for a reality show Like The Amazing Race.

On Every leg of the race they would fly to a new theme park and each would be givin a list of attractions calculated as they same line/wait line for the day. You have to get on all the rides and gwet back to a certain point , and if you get last your eliminated.

Wouldnt that be an AWESOME, reality show!

Id love to hear your opinions...!:thanks:

They had something similar to this when I went to Downtown Disney a few weeks back. They had teams running through and had to do things. A team bought my girlfriend and I drinks, then had us take pictures with them before moving on. I thought it was pretty cool

Wow that's like a dream. My favorite reality TV show combined with my favorite place! I'd kill to be on that show (well not really kill).

OT, New season of the Amazing Race starts in 2 Sundays!

I about died when I saw the title for this thread! I got so excited! :yay: :yay: :yay:

I love Amazing Race! If there was a DL version I would be the first in line!

Addition to your idea: The veto could be making someone ride ISWA 2 or 3 times in a row until there time was up!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I swear i could have written this post.

Only on the DIS could a 15 y/o & a 51 y/o think so much alike. :thumbsup2

Combine Amazing Race & Disneyland Resort (where knowing ride sequences, Disney Trivia, FP strategy & zigging when others are zagging would come into play).....DLR 29, we could team up & rock the world! :3dglasses

(you think we'd be able to zip line from the Matterhorn (over Fantasyland) to the old Skyway station behind Dumbo? :hyper:)

(Or maybe have a Churro/Corny Dog/Dole Whip eating contest? ::yes::)

I am SO in. pirate:

CRACK ME UP!!!! I hate IASM, let alone more than 1 time in a row, I think I would go crazy

It's not that I hate the ride, because I really don't mind it...

But having to be stuck on it multiple times knowing that other teams were ahead of you and you were losing time... it would make me :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: ! Not only would the song probably put you in a sour mood, but the ride is SO long and SO slow!

Amazing Race is like my fav show in the entire world!! i think it runs in the fam cause my aunt tried out for the show and got really close..and me and my best friend want to apply for it when we turn 21 (wishful thinkin')..but the combined of DL and AR would be totally awesome!!

Like posted before..you could have disney trivia..and best FP strategy..so many things you could do..

Sign me up..ha ha...

Sounds Cool.:happytv:

One of the tasks could be to locate Hidden Mickeys, collect the autographs of certain characters or search the crowds for DISers with LGMH's.

Whenever my daughter starts to tire out when we are travelling I always say to her
"Just pretend we are on the Amazing Race" which always works a treat.

While we are on the subject here is a bit of Amazing Race trivia. The shows host, Phil Keoghan, is a Kiwi like me. I used to watch him on one of our local childrens TV shows when I was a little kid. He has changed his accent since then.:thumbsup2

YEA YEA YEA!!! It's my favorite reality show too. And naturally, my favorite place on earth! How much fun that would be.

Love TAR... it's our favorite reality show. I'd sign up for a DLR version!

DH and I will watch and say things like, "You would have to do that Roadblock." or "Which detour would you pick?"

In fact, DH and I actually sent in a tape to try out for TAR a few years ago. Didn't get chosen, but oh well.

Where do I sign up? Awesome idea!

I dont know if they still have this but years ago there used to be a charity event amongst cm volunteers that they had to ride so many rides and I think do it in a certain amount of time. Anyone else ever hear of this?
