You can still watch the parade from Main Street, right? I don't think getting a dessert party or other "meal" is a requirement. I probably misunderstood your comment. I'm sorry about that. We've done a desert party @ Oogie Boogie, we sat at those high tables and my feet always fall asleep on high tops, not a big fan. It looks like you get included in the dessert party some crackers and cheese, and in a box so you can take it home if you want. Ours was straight up desserts and too many sweets at the end of a long park day, where we were already snacked out, and alcohol was included, and we don't drink, so that's a bummer. They did get us sodas, but sodas with dessert? too much. We did the World of Color at the Tratoria, and the meal was great. I got steak, and my husband got pasta, and like you are saying in your post, we had "reserved standing room." I am an old lady who tries not to use a scooter at parks. But after a 12-hour day, I needed a seat, we found a bench and asked a cast member very nicely if I could sit, and she obliged... Asking nicely usually goes very far, as long as they can accommodate. We did Hungry Bear for Fantasmic and we had great "seats" front row to Rivers of America, but the "seats" were our own bottoms, so getting up and down from the ground as a 51-year-old, out-of-shape lady is not pretty, lol! Our best "enchanting extra" was the fireworks show at Magic Kingdom, Sweets & Seats - they had a few savory items (all you could eat) and alcohol was included, but at least they had sparkling cider for the kids and adults who abstain, haha. Tinkerbell flew right over our heads, it was magical! Enchanting Extras can be pricey but for a special occasion, the seats and seats was for my birthday. I still have a list of ones I want to do at both domestic parks and probably several I would want to do at the international parks too!
