Disneyland 70th speculations and news

How long is PTN? Fantasmic ends at 10:57. It takes a few minutes for the masses to trek through Adventureland to get to Main Street. If PTN starts at Main Street, that part of the park will somewhat clear before the 2nd Fantasmic viewers get there.
From videos its a 20+ mins show....so I just doubt it will be

For me it makes wayyyyyy more sense to start them around the same time and then Main street will be much clearer before...just why start a show at almost 11 PM?

Also if the dinning for the first show was easier to get I would not care but twice when I have tried to get it...it was either sold out or not there....

I know they've said the 70th will go thru next year. Do we know if PTN will run during Christmas time at all?

Also interested in speculation about when the holiday hiatus will be and for which events. We're going Halloween weekend.

Last year Better Together was at 4:00 and 6:30 during the summer.

With PTN happening right before Wondrous Journeys I wonder if anyone has any recommendations on where a good spot would be to camp out and get a decent view to see both?

I am not familiar with the good spots or where they let you stand so any advice for a solo traveler would be appreciated!

Below is a map of the usual parade route. The early parades start next to Small World and end at Town Square. The later parades go in the opposite direction.

One can view the parade and then fireworks either by Small World or over the castle (ie. Main Street). Just make sure you are not on the Adventureland/Frontierland side of the Partner's Statue hub area as the parades don't go on that side.

So if I have 3 nights do you think I can get everything-

World of color
Fantasmic
Paint night
Wondrous journeys
And galaxy edge?

So much night stuff!

I'm planning the exact same over 4 nights and it's quite complex! Nights this summer should be GREAT for ride lovers. Everyone will be watching shows!

As a solo traveler, I would recommend finding a spot on Main Street (the closer to the castle, the better). Once the parade goes by and they remove the crowd-control rope, people are allowed to go stand in the street to watch the fireworks.

how long do we think the DL Anniversary Ticket Offer (4 days for $400) will stay on offer for?

I don't think I seen any of the tickets deals removed before their end date, but it could happen.

Planning on going in July, and buying my ticket either June or July.

It ends on August 14. I do not think they will have it again for the fall/Halloween Time and Holiday Time/Festival of Holidays/Christmas 2025 seasons.

Thanks for the quick response. I don't think I worded myself correctly.

This ticket offers that ends Aug 14th, do you think they could stop selling it before Aug 14th or so, if they sell their quota they are looking for?

For example if I wait until July to buy my tickets for this offer, could it already be sold out?

There is always a possibility that they sell outthe quota. Honestly I do not see them pulling the offer. Could there be a possibility your dates become not available for the offer? Yes but probably you will get availability for your days. If If you know your dates, then buy the tickets for the 70th offer. The worst thing thay could happen is buying regular tickets for your dates.

I am also stalling on buying my tickets for early August with the anniversary offer. I have 7 in my family so I've been buying gift cards when there's a good deal. Should I buy tickets separately as I get enough gift card money?

Right now planning on 3 day parkhopper with LL. If I decide to add a 4th day can I also do that later with the same promo price?

I understand the question, but no one on here is able to provide more intel. Disney may not even know.

Most likely you will be fine by waiting. You just need to know that you are taking a chance they could stop selling tickets under the offer. This is probably remote.

The bigger risk is individual date reservations being booked up for the days you want to visit. This ticket offer has a separate reservation bucket that has less availability than regular tickets.

If you have date flexibility, I would think the risk of waiting to buy is pretty low.
