Disneyland 70 Happy Meal

I got my crush Moana when I went this week. CHEEE HOOOOO!!!

This weeks addition is Bing-Bong & Mufasa.

I still have a duplicate box that I tried to trade but they only had the boxes I already had. Hopefully this coming week they will have something different and I can exchange it for something new/different.

Was able to exchange my duplicate at a McDonald's when I was out of town and stopped to get a drink and got Daisy Duck & Lightening McQueen. Funny most of the workers have no clue that there are numbers on the bottom of the boxes so you can track if you get a duplicate without opening the box.

Co-worker also gave me Aurora because her son didn't want it.

I got Aurora and Darth Vader the other day. I've also gotten the evil queen from Snow White, and Thanos. I wish they didn't have villains.

I kind of wish they didn't have Star Wars and Marvel and had more of the classic Disney characters. But I do understand why there are more of the modern characters, as those are the ones that kids know.

Me, too. I also wish they had Disneyland specific things, like figures based on rides or Main Street or something, since it's for the 70th.

They have Chip & Dale in a teacup. Box # 28, which also has Ahsoka Tano.

I now have way too many of this little toys.

My local store is up to box 30, I have a feeling they will be out of toys well before the January 12th end date. Which I am okay with because I am kinda tired of cheeseburgers and chicken nuggets.

I know what you mean! I'm done with McNuggets for sure. Hopefully my son will be willing to eat some cheeseburgers. I did get Pluto the other day, which is one of the ones I really want. I also really want the castle.

My son and I have been casually collecting! I'd love to get one of the castles, the hatbox ghost, or chip & dale on the teacups.
So far we've gotten Bing Bong, Simba, Nebula, Baymax (My son's top pick!), and two of Nick Wilde and Dory. I need to start checking out which locations will just sell the toys.

I finally got both the Hat Box Ghost and Chip & Dale in the tea cup. I went to exchange a couple duplicates and I gave them a list of the box numbers I needed with those 2 circled and said specifically the two circled ones. I was shocked when they handed me both of them.

My collection so far. Minus the ones I got this evening when I exchanged my duplicates

I have gotten way too many of these now. It is getting harder and harder to not get duplicates. I have been going back in and asking if they could exchange them for ones I don't have. I have a list of what ones I haven't gotten yet and am not picky about what one I get when I exchange.

I may never eat at McDonald's again after this.

Only a few more days to get these cute little guys. Promotion is set to end on January 12.

My obsession has become out of control. I only need 5 more set to have gotten them all. The last are going to be VERY difficult I have a feeling. I am no longer buying a happy meal and HOPING I get one. I am asking for them to check before I make the purchase.

I ended up buying the last 5 sets I needed on eBay. By Friday I will have the entire set minus the few I gave away (Star Wars & Marvel). I never intended to get them all.

I can say that even though I wasn't able to get 5 of them locally, I was able to exchange any duplicates I had for ones I didn't have. Out of 35, 5 I am getting on eBay, 3 I was either given/exchanged for. So in total I ate 27 Happy Meals in 6 weeks, which is about 21 more than I ever intended to. Well played McDonalds but it will be a very long time before I eat another cheeseburger or chicken nugget.

Maybe....But they will need to come with something different than these. Especially since many of these are identical duplicates of the Disney 100 toys. How about characters in ride vehicles like the Chip & Dale in the teacup?
